The wreck of the Bleamoor is located in Torbay 4 miles SSE of Berry Head. She is laying in 46m of water, standing approximately 10m proud at her shallowest point. The Bleamoor  is a great deep or technical dive!

Bleamoor Wreck Dive TorbayThe Bleamoor was on passage from Hull to Falmouth when she was struck by a torpedo in the #1 hold fired from UB-80, Kapitanleutnant Biebeg. The Crew were unable to launch the lifeboats and were picked up by patrol vessels and landed in Torquay. The Purser and 7 Crew were lost. She was carrying 5,300 tonnes of coal.

Little else is known of this wreck, she has been confused with the Kendall Castle……..

The Bleamoor was built in in Sunderland in 1902 by W.Doxford and sons ltd. She was 342 ft long and 3,745 tonnes.
