We are looking for a full time, permanent PADI Open Water Scuba Instructor to join our team from January 2024 onwards. This is a great opportunity to join a long established (30 years and counting!) dive centre.   

We are a very busy PADI 5* IDC Centre based in Teignmouth, Devon, running training from Discover Scuba Diving all the way through to Instructor Development Courses, and Specialities as well.
We are ideally looking for a PADI Instructor who has some experience teaching the core courses (Open Water, Advanced, Rescue, ReActivate, DSD's), however we would be willing to consider an enthusiastic, quick learner who's recently qualified as PADI OWSI.
Experience diving in cold water is necessary as we teach in the sea all throughout the year, so you need to be comfortable in cold water/low viz conditions.
 
We're looking for someone either based in the area, or someone willing to relocate to Teignmouth for the job, and they do need to have a Drivers Licence as much of our training is at different locations so you need to be able to drive our vans.
Opportunity to teach Speciality Courses, if qualified, and gain experience in a fast paced Dive Centre/Shop completing 350-400 certs a year.
 
Training on air/nitrox filling is available for anyone who is not Gas Blender trained yet, and good opportunity to gain a strong understanding of the equipment side of things within our shop.
A good grasp of the English language, both written and verbal is important, and speaking other languages is a bonus.
