The PADI Open Water Diver Course
Learning to dive is easy with the PADI Open Water Diver Course at Teign Diving Centre. The PADI Open Water Diver Certification is the worlds most popular diver training course and sought after diving qualification. The Open Water Diver Course includes training in all the skills you need to dive safely and competently throughout the world, and enables you to be ready to enjoy the amazing underwater world safely, whilst having fun.

The course is taught in a fun and friendly manner by professional PADI instructors, using the most up to date training techniques. We have a full range of schedules and options to suit everyone, from a part time 5 week course, to an intensive 5 day course.
Become A PADI Open Water Diver
As a PADI Open Water Diver, you will be qualified to dive anywhere in the World to a maximum depth of 18m with a buddy (younger age groups have depth restrictions).You can then venture into different areas of diving through the PADI Specialities or the PADI Advanced Open Water Diver Course!
The PADI Open Water Diver Course is open to all ages from 10yo, as long as you're reasonably fit.
All of our PADI Open Water Diver Course options include course materials and equipment hire for the duration of the course, and if you sign up for the Open Water Diver Course with Teign Diving Centre then you will receive a voucher booklet with £150 of vouchers including free membership to our Centres, a free boat dive, free equipment rentals, plus equipment and course deals.
Pre-requisites
- Prerequisite Qualifications: None/Uncertified
- Minimum Age: 10 years and upwards, under 15's will earn the PADI Junior Open Water Diver Certification.
- Swimming: Must be able to swim 200m unaided.
