Depth to Seabed: 40m

Minimum Qualification: Deep Speciality

Firestone is a shore dive, although boat cover is advisable but not essential. There is a gentle slope (swimming SE) to 10m, followed by a steep drop off to 40m. Best to dive at high water (ideally neap tides). The shallow slope is covered with kelp; on the drop off there are a range of anemones, sponges and soft corals. Torch is recommended.
